Kangwon Land is accelerating its efforts to attract international tourists and strengthen its competitiveness as a complex resort by utilizing creators and social media influencers from around the world.
Kangwon Land announced on the 8th that it held the launch ceremony for the '2nd High1 Global Supporters' at the High1 Grand Hotel, featuring 20 foreign creators and social media influencers from 13 different countries.
These supporters are tasked with experiencing High1 Resort's tourism and leisure content from a foreigner's perspective and creating multilingual content, such as short-form videos, to introduce the resort to social media users worldwide.
Beyond simple online promotion, they will also serve as consultants, checking resort signage, navigation paths, and amenities from the perspective of foreign visitors to improve overall convenience.
Following the presentation of appointment letters to the 20 supporters, a two-day familiarization tour was held.
Participants explored key facilities and tourism content, including the 'M650' coal mining heritage museum which officially opened on the 7th, the foreigner-only casino zone, the High1 Wellness Center, and the Untangodo cable car, gathering material for their promotional content.
Through these activities, Kangwon Land plans to promote High1 Resort's year-round tourism resources and complex resort facilities abroad while incorporating real-world feedback from foreign tourists into service improvements.
Juraphon (39, female), a supporter from Thailand, said, "I am excited to experience and share High1's beautiful four seasons and diverse attractions. I will deliver honest opinions and vivid content from the perspective of a foreign tourist."
Kim Do-kyun, CEO of Kangwon Land, stated, "The Global Supporters are a vital channel for communicating with our international customers and a valuable advisory group for our leap toward becoming a global complex resort. We will actively incorporate their diverse opinions and ideas to develop this into a destination sought after by people from all over the world."
