In front of every baccarat table, there is a scoreboard filled with a complex array of red and blue dots.
Players look at these patterns and say:
“The streak is alive.”
“The ping-pong has started.”
“The long streak hasn’t broken yet.”
“It’s time for the opposite to appear.”
The baccarat scoreboard is the most interpreted screen in the casino. Some see it as a record board to check past results, while others view it as a map to predict the next outcome.
Furthermore, for some players, the scoreboard is treated like a compass or a navigation system. They believe it is a directional sign pointing them toward where to bet next.
However, there is a fact that must be clearly understood.
The baccarat scoreboard only shows the path already taken; it does not guide the path ahead.
It is a record of the past, not a navigation system for the future.
1. What does the scoreboard show?
The baccarat scoreboard records the results of Banker, Player, and Tie in a specific format.
When the same result continues, it moves vertically; when a different result appears, it moves to the next column. Through this, players can see at a glance the recent frequency of Banker and Player appearances, consecutive results, and alternating patterns.
Up to this point, there is no problem.
The scoreboard is a useful tool for organizing past results. For players, it makes it easier to grasp the game flow, and for the casino, it serves to display results transparently.
The problem arises the moment one starts interpreting these records to predict the future.
The scoreboard can accurately display past results. However, that does not mean the next result can be accurately predicted through those records.
A car navigation system guides you to your destination based on current location and road information. But the baccarat scoreboard is not such a device. It shows “where you have been,” but it does not tell you “where you should go now.”
